Khaja recipe: How to make homemade Khaja

Khaja recipe is famous mostly in Odisa, Bihar especially North India.

In every pooja and marriage, KHAJA is distributed to everyone because it is a kind of Bhog.

Khaja bahut Tasty and yummy hoti hai. Ye Ek sweet dish hai jishse pooja ya Shadi ke time pe high demand hoti  hai.

Ingredients for layered Fritters
  • 2 cups of flour/maida
  • Ghee/butter/oil 
  • Jaggery
  • water





Khaja banane ke liye:


  • 2 cup maida
  • Ghee
  • Mitha
  • paani



Ingredients for sweet syrup




  • Sugar
  • cardamom
  • Water









Syrup Banane ke liye

  • Sugar
  • Illaychi
  • Water


Khaja Recipe


  1. Take 2 cups of flour(Maida).
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of Jaggery water.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of ghee.
  4. add cold water.
  5. now Dough form
  6. leaves Dough for 15-20 mins.
  7. Take the dough and roll it.
  8. Take 5 layered and  place one after another
  9. Add dry flour and oil between each layer
  10. now roll all 5 spread layer of flour.
  11. Cut the flour roll into the small part
  12. press by palm(each)
  13. Take a pan heat the oil.
  14. Put KHAJA in medium/low flame oil.

Khaja banane ki Recipe (In Hindi)

  1. 2 Cup maida.
  2. 2 tablespoon mitha paani.
  3. 2 tablespoon Ghee
  4. Cold water se sabko mila ke guth le
  5. 15-20 min tak guthe huye aate ko chor de.
  6. Dough ko roti ki tarah bel le
  7. 5 roti bana le.
  8. 5 roti ko ek dusre ke upar rakh le.
  9. har ek roti ke niche oil and dry floyr laga le.
  10. 5 roti ko roll karle.
  11. chotte chotte part mai cut kar le.
  12. palm se ek ek ko press kare.
  13. Pan rakhe
  14. oil daale
  15. put dough in edium/low flame





SYRUP Recipe



  1. Take 1/2cup of water
  2. take 1 cup of sugar
  3. put cardamon and heat in low flame.
  4. Now add fried Khaja in syrup.
  5. Khaja recipe is ready







SYRUP RECIPE


  1. Adha cup paani le
  2. 1 cup sugar daale
  3. illaychi daale
  4. fried khaja surup mai daale
  5. khaja recipe ready
